Alright I got about halfway through the replies and got bored so my question, as someone who does not have a dog in this fight, is: since when does HO (or any department) give public explanations for hiring decisions? Like, what do you people want, aside from them to have hired a different user? This shit is wild. Also, someone make a thread team.

I may sign in BAP, I may not. From a user/player I wanted the agency if I was going to leave Minny, which I wasn't even convinced I was going to do.

I can't speak to BAP or MIN as GMs as I found out I was traded via dms from other GMs. Again nothing against Eddie or Waters.

I think that's what spurring the frustration from BAP (wally and hhh)...

Time for me to probably go silent on this as it's not going to do any good to say my perspective, the respective GMs know how I feel and have been really great to me on both sides.

I know you said “time for me to go silent” and this isn’t asking for a response from you, more asking into the void. You were traded, you still haven’t said whether or not you’ll sign an extension with, Wally agreed to the trade, why is anyone upset it happened? Am I missing a piece?

I think we should delete HO as an entity, just let teams and elect their GMs amongst themselves. We can remove the draft too and let people just make up teams.

Besides me obviously being upset that I didn't get any say in it?

Cause people have feelings. The perception is that, if I was talked to before hand then maybe everyone could have come out of this with a more fair perspective? I honestly, don't know and have discussed this at length. BAP feels like they were lied to, Minny feels they had no obligation to let me know or have any talk to me. My initial reaction was probably a bit more shock and I have alluded to wanting full player agency, as everyone should have, so the assumptions are that I am going to leave BAP, which I might... So they are angry at the assumptions by my words and the future that might be?

I wish it would all just die down though. A lot of my friends are hurting as are yours and dragging this more isn't going to start to mend any wounds.
