Now that I think about it more I don't think we should allow players to bank Tpe. I myself have banked tpe in preparation for regression, but the league needs a steady flow of recreates and being able to bank tpe will only hurt that. I say we change it but allow anyone who has banked tpe in past to be able to keep those tpe banked.

grandfathered? That could work.

Like Winter said, for him, he is only working on maxing durability, which is basically pointless anyway. If he can bank all his TPE, he won't have regression affect him for probably another 6 years.

I'd propose that we don't allow to bank points anymore. And TPE from PTs etc. can only be claimed within 4 weeks, after that they are gone, to prevent people from circumventing that rule by just not claiming their points until they need them.

For sure, but I think more like 2 weeks(unless they have a valid excuse)

Keep them in the bank tbh. There was no rule before and I would be pretty pissed if I wasted all that money on training for nothing when it could of gone towards my recreate.

And about the guys that forget to claim

I will hire myself to go through each pt claim thread and cross off people's names who have claimed. If some people haven't claimed after a week I will pm them to let them know. If they haven't logged on in that time frame then I would put that under a valid excuse and let them claim.

small note: GOD McZehrl played at first as Defender and later as Forward!

Two things from my point of view:

1. There should be no banking points, period.

2. I think any first-year player should be allowed to be sent down, regardless of TPE. I get the point of not having second-year guys dominate with their high TPEs, but most SHL teams can't fit rookies in their lineup, and it's better for them to go to the minors.

If each team gets one designated rookie send down I don't think it'll cause issues in junior, so for that reason I think any first-year SHL draftee, regardless of TPE, should be allowed to play in the NWJHL.
