If they get sent down before 325, there is nothing that I could say about it.
so then why is it fair for a guy like Bleak, who sits at 324, to go down to junior and then immediately have 360 or whatever as soon as he goes down -- but then a guy that's at 326 and not banking points isn't allowed to go down? That's an obvious issue.

Well I think any rookie should be allowed to go down. It clears up controversy in terms of players banking points, it clears up complications in case a player goes over 325 TPE mid-season, and it gives the SHL teams a little bit more flexibility (and the entire purpose of the NWJHL is to serve the SHL, whether to develop current SHL prospects, or prospects that will soon play in the SHL).

I don't understand why you guys are intimidated by having some higher TPE players in the NWJHL anyway. It would make it a more interesting league and would generate more buzz among members, that's what you should want as a league too.

confirm!
and then we have the chance with my idea! i think this idea is really good for the SHL and his problems! Wink

Because I've had the pleasure of watching what send downs try for the past couple of days. Wolf and Bleak want a shit ton of ice time, and are going to get it if they're sent down, meaning that any junior drafted by Vancouver is going to take a back seat to the send downs and not get the full experience of what a junior player should get just so we can let the over powered players dominate the league?

Redden is a great defender in the NHL? News to me.

Regardless, that has nothing to do with the situation and like I've said already, I'll discuss with the junior commishes and we'll come to a consensus on something.

They can't be in the lineup above true juniors, though. Even if the GM puts the ice time at 49% for a junior first line and 48% for a send down second line, it's still less time.

And yet Bleak is asking for both 1st and 3rd line offensive duties in Vancouver.

The full junior experience? I think juniors would have a better experience because they're with a more active team, and they get to be with more mentors and members who have been through being drafted and can bring a different leadership aspect to the team. Some junior teams last season had like 3 or 4 active players only, and I think the junior experience would be better if there were more active players and some more experienced high-skill players too.

that is right krever and therefore i think we have not so many active rookies + during the season this many inactives! that is one reason! Wink

Exactly. That was one of the big reasons Bleak wanted out of Prince George. We had only a few actives and they were pretty inconsistent with their posts.

He can have 1st and 3rd line duties as long as his team doesn't draft or sign more than 3 forwards. At least, as it stands right now.

for the future i think is the activity in the NWJHL most importantly!!!

that is the entire league and season for the newcommers! if they see so many inactive teams ... then i am honest .... i would leave the league! since S9 maybe S10 we had so many active guys in the NWJHL! but now ..... must I write to about that? Wink
