It's just sad how little research some, if not most of the GMs are doing for this....
That's very very disappointing.
So apparently all you have to do to win an award around here is give yourself insane amount of ice time and then you'll get rewarded with a trophy. God damn stupid. Dooley played forward allllllll year and gets nominated as a defenseman, Due should've won, That's a complete travesty.

I'm saying because he played almost half of the season as a forward Dooley isn't a defenseman. Did I say Dooley should be exempt from all awards? no but I don't think a player that played almost half a season NOT as a defenseman and when there are other full-time defenseman just as good as didn't get nominated that its a travesty. I think Due not winning after the season he had is stupid. Its easy to get numbers when you're penciled in for more than half a season (up until trade deadline when you got Myers) on all 4 defensive pairings and BOTH powerplay lines and penalty kill.
I feel Duey got fucking robbed and I feel that the nominations were bogus. I'm not saying Dooley isn't deserving of any trophy and I didn't say he had a bad season. I'm also not attacking Park or Dooley as members. I'm just saying a player that didn't play the whole season as a defenseman shouldn't be considered to be a defenseman for a best defenseman award. Dooley would be a prime candidate for the Dar IMO.
Defenseman get one award the whole season and now we have to worry about players playing forward half the season from taking our nominations for our only award? I feel that the nominees should at least be defenseman. I don't think a hybrid player should be getting a nomination when theres so many other full-time defenseman in this league that deserve the nomination for playing the position of defense.
