lmao that's the most one-sided view I've ever heard of it (and I've heard a lot). I lived in Sens country for four years and went to six Leafs/Sens games at Scotiabank place and Leafs fans get bullied all the time.

Sens fans are so bitter about the Leafs, the team has to stop worrying about Toronto and Montreal and do its own thing but it's unreal, fans are so preoccupied with trying to be better than the Leafs that they hate the Leafs more than they even like their own team.

The sad part is the Sens aren't even the Leafs' biggest rival, the Habs are, but there are as many or more Leafs fans in Ottawa than Sens fans which is why the game in Ottawa has become a Leafs home game.

Cox knows hockey pretty well I find, especially the Leafs, and I think he's usually fair. I don't mind when people change their opinions because it means they're open-minded and don't mind admitting when they're wrong.

I'm not a Steve Simmons fan by any means. Berger on the other hand is bitter over something that happened back in the '90s, I don't know the story but apparently he used to be a major Leafs homer now he's the opposite.

I cant wait to go to the game on April 20th in Ottawa. Got tickets in the home end. Going to deck my self out in leaf gear.

if he came out and said "Phil doesn't care where he plays, he just wants to get paid" fans would be upset with him if he leaves for more money.
this way, fans will be upset with the team if they dont re-sign him, because in public opinion Kessel wanted to stay.

im sure Toronto is Kessel's preference, if they pay him what he wants.
if not, im sure he would be absolutely fine finding a new place to play...as would 90% of NHL players.
