If its just a back up there's plenty of guys who can fill that role for just signing the dotted line on a small contract. Auld, Roloson(be a great mentor), Ellis(I believe) and a few others

Scrivens is a fine backup, but nothing more. He fights pucks constantly and can be really shaky even when on his game. Overall though hes been great this year (statistically), just get out of this game winning the fights tbh.

How can you fully trust a guy after you went the entire offseason + saying you needed a goalie, more specifically Luo?

Tampa really couldn't do much tonight which is a good sign of our defensive structure. Kept their shots low and from the outside; too bad Scriv couldn't even stop those, but we do need to help him with goals. off night.

Yeah this has been a tough stretch of games for the Leafs (facing teams who they struggle against). If we get a point in BUF ill be satisfied, anything less ill be mad tbh. They're struggling but you know how Miller is; when hes not crying over something, hes stoning the Leafs.
