I personally don't get it and wouldn't wear any of these types of shoes, but do you guys legit wear basketball shoes with Jeans to a party or just on a nice day to wear outside?

both, depends on the party though. If it is formal I wear dress shoes lol.

What a well thought out response with a lot of good points! Also coming from the guy who wants to wear the shoes in the first post for 200 dollars lmao.

Also I have over 15 pairs of shoes that fit me currently none of which are basketball shoes, being a "sneakerhead" doesn't require owning basketball shoes at all. Plenty of lines beyond sports shoes, especially ones that look utterly ridiculous.

don't really care about what you have to say, which is why I didn't bother lmao

your posts are funny tho, I'll give you that

What type of party would you consider it appropriate for you to wear them to? I'm curious because I've never seen it done.

Also, I find it a little ridiculous you think you need to own at least one pair of basketball shoes to be considered a sneakerhead. I'm not one, but just think that's ridiculous

Oh and also I'm not sure which portion of the world disagrees with me? The black community? That's part of their culture, its very different imo (unless youre black JT? i know dylan isnt) my friend COLLECTS basketball shoes to play in and I've never once seen him wear them out before to a party.

Alot of people lol. I know tons and tons of white people that wear basketball shoes. Saying only black people wear them and it's a clothing no no is just dumb

Yeahthat I think I've maybe seen someone wearing legitimate basketball sneakers with jeans probably 4 times. I have no problems with Jordans, but the Jordans you're referring to as "basketball sneakers" would never be legitimately worn in a game.

house parties I will wear them, sometimes to the club, dependent on the club.

And basketball shoes and sneakerheads go hand in hand with eachother.

I own 1 pair of shoes and won't dump them until they stop being comfortable and assuming I stop growing, that won't happen for a while.

LOL. I have Jordan Bred 11s, Fire Red 3s and Flu Game 13's just to name a few. They have all been worn in a game, but MJ

Nice man and I have Jordan Kobe VIII's which were worn in game but in the early 2000's. Nobody would legitimately wear those shoes anymore, you as a "sneakerhead" should know that the builds are VERY different now. Hence why I wouldn't consider them basketball shoes as opposed to your KD's.

However, I'll never wear or buy a pair of Jordans again because I never want to look back at myself and say: "Wow I can't believe I wore that".
