I'm just gonna leave this here

I'm sorry buy I won't watch this team again until a trade is made, Liles is playing, or Gardiner gets called up. I just can't take seeing these bumbling fools play.

Very close to stop watching the raptors too because you have an equally bad, if not worse coach in terms of managing the lineup/rotation. Alan Anderson over Terrence Ross? Aaron fucking Gray over JV in the 4th quarter? Why does the Toronto media not call out these fools?

You obviously don't know about basketball hurrr durr. What a fucking joke

Anderson is a journeyman chucker. I've never seen a player as selfish as him let a lone a role player that should be getting 10 minutes max. He's horrible. He plays a ton and takes atleast 20 shots a game. Ross doesn't even get nearly as good of an opportunity to play. If he had consistent minutes he would be much better. Plus the raptors are in no position to play a 30 year old journeyman chucker over their 8th overall pick. This development time is important for Ross. It's ridiculous.

Do you even basketball?

He's the furthest thing from clutch. I've never seen him do anything remotely crutch. Quite the opposite. I remember him chucking up 7 or 8 threes and missing in OT against the heat earlier this year and that single handedly killed our team. Or how bout that time where we were down by 1 and we had possession and he decides to chuck up a contested off balance 3 with 7 seconds left and blows that. Or just recently with his spinning, crossover fadeaway air ball.... Oh god is he bad.

<!--QuoteBegin-Wheelz@Mar 12 2013, 09:45 PM

I'm not saying he should get big minutes. Just consistent minutes which Casey doesn't give him. It just kills his confidence. You can see it. It's not like he doesn't deserve it either, except around the AS break time where he was playing bad.

Look at Beal, Waiters, Barnes. They each went through their awful times but their coaches kept with them and gave them consistent minutes and chances and they are all looking really good right now more so Beal and Waiters.

He should get more minutes though now that we're out of it. Alan Anderson should not be playing more than him in any circumstance.

Oh and I do watch more than the raps.

It could have been a better possibility.
I don't think so.even with his history with Burke Getzlaf never had any intention on leaving Anaheim he's said it several times

I'm not a huge Ribiero fan never have been but why do you guys think he'd fit with Kess so well? He's really pretty slow and not a very good skater he's just got incredible hands. I honestly think Kess is a tad too quick for him

Ribiero has had the legs to keep up with Ovi, pretty sure he can do that with Phil.

I haven't watched a whole lot of caps this season so I can't comment but I know they weren't as fast paced of an offense last season under Hunter I wasn't sure if Oates kept that style or went for an offensive approach. Until this season he's mainly played with more defensive teams like Dallas (ribiero that is)

Just curious Maxy who told you he's a bad skater? He's one of the better skaters in the NHL today. Also when did Dallas become a defensive team there D Is there weakness

They are pretty much a high tempo offensive team under Oates, with Ribiero playing with Ovie who is nothing if not fast.

I've always thought of him as slower and nut great on his feet and not so much defensive but not a high powered up tempo offense if you will he hasn't really had a huge offensive gun like an Ovi or Kessel in recent memory to play alongside with he's had Benn, Erikkson, and Neal but none were as dynamic in my opinion

Kessel and Neal are basically the same player with neal being a better goal scorer.

Nah.

Well both skate in and shoot, Neal does it better. Kessel is a better playmaker and slightly better speed. They are pretty comparable
