Leafs FAN Talk

You're not allowed in here anymore either! Game isn't even over! And you're acting like you watched the game even though there are no streams and the AHL official live stream for the game isn't even up.

All we have is stats atm. One assist and leads all Marlies with 3 shots on goal. Seems to be doing his thing.

No need for streams when you have some one at the game haha. And he's a leafs fan he wanted to see Riellys AHL debut. He said he looks great in the O zone but weak in the D zone against the bigger older forwards. I

Rielly lead the team in shots for most of the game.

Ideally id like to see Rielly finish this season with the Marlies, and then stay down for a chunk next season, too; Eakins is gonna do magic with this kid, like he did with Naz and our other D.

No reason to bring him up. Ideally keep him out of the spot light aslong as possible let him hone his craft in the AHL for 1 full season under Eakins get him stronger for the bigger opposition. Try him 2 years down the road. Play him like they did Kadri make him earn his role and hone his craft

Pretty sure we will lose Eakins this off-season, unless they can offer him NHL coaching money to stay.

It's either junior or the NHL next season. The year after he would be eligible for the AHL.

Yeah, there's no rush. We'll definitely see him for parts of next season, but id rather him play in the A for the most part.

This is why I love Eakins, I feel so comfortable letting players grow under him.

Your friend at the game in Chicago is texting you play by play updates on Rielly plus you were talking as if the game was already over, probably unaware the game started at 8:30 and not 7. Seems legit.

This is also true he's still eligible to go back for his overage year though I think he can play in the AHL and choose not to go back for his overage year. Not 100% certain though

You're not allowed here anymore. Gibby doesn't have a heart of gold. He has a heart of black. No offence gib, but you'd have to be stupid to think that the Nash hit was a spinning awkward collision. Or you're just watching the wrong video.
It is an awkward hit...idk wtf he was doing...so no its not an innocent hit but idk its weird...tge fact that he didnt get a hearing is stupid imo...I could see 1-2 games but its just a weird awks hit
