Kostka and Holzer played huge minutes for the majority of the season. Those Gus are borderline NHL players Gunnar is having a down year, Likes has been in an out of the lineup, Franson and Fraser have been pretty good but this D core would be in shambles without Phaneuf.

I won't get into the details really though since I wouldn't know what I'm talking about.

Look, I don't even know what you're talking about. I told you I'm no expert in this stuff.

Dion is having a very good season because he's doing exactly what he's asked. The reason you don't see him going for the big hit too often is he has to play more than 20 minutes a night amd if he's trying to take heads off he won't last the season.

The reason you don't see end to end rushes is because he's asked to play a responsible stay at home game.

In Calgary it was a different role, which is why you don't see the same Dion. It's not like he's regressed in those other areas, it's that he's matured into a far more reliable defenceman that the coach can rely on to give him more than 20 solid minutes a night.

I think the reason you don't see the big hits is because the nhl is soft right now and he can't afford a suspension

Better to buyout or deal Grabovski, resign Bozak and promote Hamilton to full time NHL duties.

I haven't really like Hamilton that much at all. Grabovski's contract is all he has going against him right now. And when all's said and done Bozak will want a comparable contract. I'd prefer Grabo over Bozak on most nights. Grabo is in a dry spell right now but he's a better player than Bozak imo

Sounds good to me. Maybe keep Bozak on first line next year and put Kadri on 2nd though.

we want the old grabo that went end to end against boston and scored a beauty.

Bozak is head and shoulders better than Grabovski. All Garbo can do is skate don't pass the puck and fan on shots. Not worth the money extremely selfish player that doesn't create chances. Look at Kulemin he started playing with Kadri and he broke out. Grabovski Sucks at the contract he currently has.

Because Bozak will demand the same as Grabo in a free market, especially this free agent market where there's not a real whole lot of young Free Agents and yeah I'll take Grabo over Bozak any day of the year Grabo has done far more in his NHL Career than Bozak. Bozak has had one season where he had more Assists OR Goals not both, one of them than Grabo and it was last season and Grabo had far more goals.
