Call on the ice was a goal, goaltender interference is not reviewable. Not sure why they can take it back after the fact.

The only way is if the other referee was calling goaltender interference as the play occurred. Under that circumstance, the goal can be called back.

If the leafs lose the game can they get compensation from the league? A point or two? If the refs went outside the rules to screw the leafs they should be fired and the leafs should get compensation because of how close it is to the playoffs

Yeah i was wrong on what i said earlier. Any play that referees disagree on is reviewable. Including goaltender interference

Just read this on HF:

You cannot call a goal back because of goalie interference after it was caled a goal.

That's not in the rules. It's not just a bad call it's an impossible call.

Leafs should play the rest of the game under protest. That's just complete BS

That's true isn't it? You can't call a goalie interference goal back if it was already called a goal.

Not review-able through video, but referee conference. Which is what happened in this case.

Yeah what you posted above.

Regardless it's the wrong call imo. Komarov's interference was not enough to stop Anderson from stopping the shot, nor did the referee call a penalty on the play. The second bit of interference was all Phillips

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

Either way the refs got it wrong and I hope they get their anus gets ravaged by a big burly black man called DeMarcus

Refs from China would be better. At least they would be able to call the game down the middle without trying to screw over the Leafs each game. That was a good goal, Phillips was holding Komarov and Anderson had enough room

yep, a bullshit rookie mistake by a veteran official. but the right thing still happened so I'm alright with it. it's just funny, the ref made a mistake but then cancelled it out by making another mistake.

yeah. the right call on the ice would have been goalie interference on the first play. missing that was mistake # 1.

the second mistake was going back and changing the call after, even though it's not reviewable and the call on the ice was a goal.
