Sens vs Pens Playoff Series

Seriouser answer: It's irrelevant.

Hockey fans are the only ones that seem to think proximity has(or should have) anything to do with interest in a team, fans gonna fan.
I was thinking the same thing, You have to be something special to believe in that.It is like saying I am a Fan of ____ team because they are the closest team to where I live.

My friend was a Pittsburgh fan and he got me to start watching hockey, he wanted me to be a Pens fan but honestly, I started to love the Sens. Been a fan since 05-06. First game I watched was Edmonton vs Carolina.

"I like something because I'm close to it" is a much better definition of liking something then, say, "I like something because I like it"

Of course, that only works in two situations.

1, You lack the ability of rational thought.
2, You've legitimately run out of ways to "insult" a fanbase, and have decided to put your pants full on your head.

. . .Actually, the two may be linked in some way.

Anyway, I liked Spezza in his return, Karlsson had an amazing game, best game Ive seen from him since his return, played 39 minutes which is insane. Spezza was HUGE in the faceoffs and we needed that, and he threw a nice hit on Morrow which I never saw from him before, the PP looked alot better with him on it, better passing and they would shoot once they had the chance instead of throwing it to the net and hope for the best like we did before.

Greening has been amazing !

No respect for my hero: Andre Benoit! Love this guy so much!

“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

Teams I cheer for
Boston Celtics
Boston red Sox
New England patriots
Anaheim ducks
VTech Hokies

My Location

Lol location has nothing to do nor should it be relevant in judging a fan, if anything shows your loyalty that you don't just jump ship to the team's closest to you

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

Crosby was invisible most of the night, he refused to shoot the puck unless he was wide open, Malkin was phenomenal though.

I'm still shocked that Malkin didn't end it in OT

Seemed like Crosby was off his game from the get go after we started taking the body

Meh, he's not one to shy away when things get physical, normally he ups his game in those situations(and even more when people start chanting "Crosby", the rest of the league still hasn't realized it yet though), I don't know what was wrong with him, but he refused to shoot unless he had no one near him, and was sticking to the left side, and he's much better on the right side.
