Yup I'd take Spezza over Henrik 9 times outta 10.

The thing is...Henrik would not be the same without Daniel. So because of that you take Spezza over Henrik everytime.

Yup, its why I doubt both come to Ottawa next year. I would only like Daniel but I know they come as a package and you never know if Daniel can play as good without his brother.

Id take Spezza over Henrik.
but not being interested in Henrik because you have Turris, Zib, and Smith is just straight up silly

Theres a difference between not being interested and not being needed. Hank would be huge for us, but center isnt what we need. We need wingers not centers, it wouldnt be a good move to pick him as we need a winger.

You could move any of those guys for a winger

you said you would only be interested in Daniel because you have Turris, Zib, and Smith as your 2-4 centers.
and what im saying is that is just silly.

if you can get Henrik and Daniel Sedin you take them in a heartbeat and you move Turris, Zib, or Smith either in a trade or move them to the wing.

Zib and Smith have played wing during their career. I think we'd be good.

The Ottawa sun (I know, terrible publication) think that Ottawa will let Gonch and Regin go, sign Flippula and trade for Ryan

Dont see Ottawa having enough to trade for Ryan nor do I see Ryan being moved now, we need wingers especially if Selanne retires, not depth centers who have no place on our team full of centers, our whole 3rd line was centers last year. Unless we get a center who has the ability to be a number one center theres no reasoning at all to trade Bobby for some centers who aren't that much better than what we already have

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

To me, getting Briere is pretty realistic.

Briere is from Gatineau, and is good friends with Pageau as he was his favorite player growing up.

I would be cool with a 3M-4M deal for 1-2 years, probably gonna get bought out, if he doesnt than we could offer Philly a decent deal.

if he gets bought out, expect the Bruins to go after him.
were gonna need a RW to take Hortons spot.
only way Horton comes back is if either we win another cup and he is a huge part of it, or he takes a discount.

Bruins were interested in Briere when he was on the trading block

Sens trade Gonchars rights for a conditional 6th rounder lol. Stars win dat trade easy. Chance at signing Gonchar is a much better chance than getting anything worth while in the 6th

Condition is they only get the 6th if Gonchar re-signs by the draft, if he doesn't the pick is void and goes back to Dallas

Lol Gonch is turrible
He got hot for a while but really isnt worth much more than that 6th pick, he would probably go to KHL anyway.
