S14 Call-Ups and Send Downs

Fourfour is over the TPE limit on both his player page and in the SHL sim. Therefore, he shouldn't be allowed to be sent back down?

Okay, it has come to my attention that some people don't understand what exactly the send-down rule is, so let me make this clear now and hopefully solve the confusion.

NO PLAYER IN THE SMJHL IS PERMITTED TO BE UPDATED PAST 325TPE. ANY PLAYER ABOVE THAT IS NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY IN THE SMJHL.

For example: If by chance Reimer is updated during his stay in Hamilton, he will be stuck up there as he has updated past 325TPE but has been held at 325 for the sake of being able to play in this league.

Use this thread to ask questions etc!

Oh hey. 44 shouldn't be allow back in the SMJHL since he was updated past 325 TPE during his stay back up in Texas. If he is allowed back down, this rule is clearly broken

When was he updated over 325 TPE in the last day?

FourFour asked me for a start and I gave him one, didn't know it would be a problem...

he did tell the updater to not update him until S16, then the updater updated and he probably got confused.

If he asked for the updater to not update him and the updater made a mistake I don't see why it would be a problem for him to get sent down, just undo the update Tongue .

He has 324 in the SMJHL sim and clearly it was a mistake. Montreal got saved a couple of seasons ago because of a mistake.

A rule is a rule. Shouldn't matter if he told the updater to update him or not. He got called up with over 325 TPE, so he should not be able to be sent back down

Let the GM's have a vote on whether he should be allowed down again or not. Democracy at it's finest and it is a totally fair and unbiased way to settle this

Tongue wasn't the rule created because of that mistake
