The game was great. Canada was absolute dominate all game long and we know'ed it gone be like this, but wow! Gudļevskis was awesome! And just to think, only a year ago he was sitting on a bus going to another MHL game (MHL is some kind of a Russian young league). Canada played a good game and if a team gets a 60 shots on net, then they have been great! I really like Canada and i'm proud how Latvia played against Canada and all the other countries! I wish Canada all the best and the gold medal!

But that play where the puck was on the line and our d-men pushed it below our goalie was correct. The puck didn't cross the line, if the puck is only a bit on the line, then the goal doesn't counts, and the d-men didn't forced the puck down by him self, he pushed it below the goalie, what is allowed! I don't know what are the rules in the NHL here, but those are the rules in KHL and KHL rules are closer with the Olimpic rules, so in this tournament the call was right

Latvia played great. There should be no disappointment in the least. After all, Latvian hockey was in the Olympics longer than Russian hockey.

There are actually different kind styles mixed together.

Time ago Latvia played well defensive, positional hockey, we played well but not enough in hitting, only few players were incredable like Laviņš.

After coming Nolan Latvia changed game style to all 360 degree!! Aggresive, so aggresive. He knows good players psihology and focus to that!

Yeah actually I have watched the games quite a bit thank you very much but I'm not a homer and am looking at the teams on paper. I don't really give a fuck what the teams have done in the tournament because guess what.... It doesn't fucking matter, it's a single game playoff. So yeah I'm looking at the teams and Canada has a far more talented team than the USA, therefore I think they're going to throttle the US tomorrow. 5-3 is my prediction with them controlling pretty much the entire game. Could I be wrong? Yup. But hey guess what, being "The favorites" doesn't mean shit. If it did they wouldn't play the games. This isn't the NHL playoffs where the teams play eachother 7 times, this is more like the NFL playoffs where they play once and the better team... THAT DAY, moves on and guess what. I'm going to use common sense that says that there's a far better chance that the Canadians who are FAR BETTER Than the US on paper have a better chance at playing well in a one game playoff against their biggest rival in the world... I mean fuck call me crazy right?! I expect the team with the most stacked roster to outplay another team. What the fuck am I thinking?!

So basically canada will win because they have higher overall players in NHL14? The actual games they play don't matter, just how good their names are?

If they were far better on paper it would show on the ice... maybe NHL14 just isn't the definitive way of determining how good players are.

Yes because that's what I said... Not the fact that the Canadian team has the top 3 point leaders in the NHL right now, and 5 of the top 10 to USA's 2 in the top 10. Or the fact that Canada has a defense where their 6th best defenseman could pretty easily slot in, in a top 2-3 role in the USA's team. The only place USA has an edge is in goaltending and if you think otherwise you need to get your American Flag removed from your asshole and stop riding it so hard.

To my knowledge USA and Canada haven't played a shared opponent yet have they? So not sure how you can compare the two teams considering they've played entirely different opponents, in a fucking 4 game showing you're riding the American cock because they won 4 games... Slovakia didn't win a single game all tournament, Slovenia won 2 games... Both against awful teams... The only impressive win the US has is against Russia, and they got lucky they didn't lose the game in regulation!

Canada on the other hand is the only team with a victory over another team remaining in the final 4 as they beat Finland... So yeah your argument is awful, go cry about Sutter being better than Neal and gtfo of here
