IF Myers were moved, it would be in part because the Sabres have the best defensive prospect stable in the league, so bringing back another young d-man defeats the purpose. Again, the only way Myers is traded is if he's bringing back an under-25 top line forward.

I would maybe deal Kadri for Myers, if we had depth at C. Sadly it would be impossible to find a replacement

Massive return for Buffalo, leafs fans might hate me for proposing this . Especially Holland who is very solid with top 6 upside. At times he looked better than Kadri during points of the season. He is another reason why trading Bolland (won't happen anyways) for something wouldn't feel that bad

Ekblad doesn't suddenly make the Oilers have the best prospect pool on D. It's a huge improvement, but I'd much rather Risto, Zadorov, McCabe, Pysyk, and McNabb than Ekblad and Nurse.

I would argue the Pens D spects are just as good if not better.

I strongly disagree with some of these. I wouldn't trade Zadorov for Nurse, or McCabe for Marcinin. Pysyk is a prospect that already plays like a 12 year vet and is one of the smoothest skaters around. Ekblad and Risto will be an interesting comparison in the long run. Two really solid all-around defenders.

They and the Islanders are the only ones even close to Buffalo. Arguments could be made for any. But adding Ekblad to the Oilers list does not put them ahead of any of those 3.
