General NHL Playoffs Discussion

Snappy, you're so wrong here I don't even know what to say.

Vanek has been one of the worst players on either team this series, and that's saying something.

Well when its Pacioretty driving down the boards and only DD coming while Vanek glides in from behind its hard to make a play...

Holy fuck do you have any idea how to play hockey ffs

You do not go in to the opponent's zone in one straight line (This is why the Habs were having trouble with their Power Play). Two players attack the wings, the third man (no matter if it is Vanek, Pacioretty, Subban or even Moen) you always play a triangle. http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=178730

The problem with Pacioretty is that when he is the third man in, instead of passing or shooting he drives back down the boards and proceeds to shoot from the red goal line.

Good thing you posted a video of kids not even rushing into the zone just standing. But like I said Vanek doesnt even skate when he is the 3rd man he glides in and just hovers around up top. Also show me where Pacioretty has shot from the goalline if anything he is working down low and cycling and moving to the faceoff circle to get a shot and hopefully a rebound.

That is exactly how you are supposed to play it, the third man glides in waiting for a one timer or a pass to an open man.

If anything Pacioretty is working down low to lose the puck or put it it in Rask's bread basket from terrible angles. If you want a rebound, shoot it off the pads.
