Name: Esa Anrikkanen

Position: Right Winger

League: Ontario Junior Hockey League

Team: Lindsay Muskies

Salary: 1’000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Esa is Finnish forward who prove one their stereotype They are all excellent skaters. Esa despite being young player has NHL level skating speed and incredible ability to manoeuvre. His biggest trump is hockey sense. Anrikkanen very easy make himself in scoring position. This in combination of his quick release makes him to deadly goalscorer to opponent team. Esa has great size and he knows how to use it. This in combination of his well ability to control puck makes him twice better to make scoring opportunity. Despite high offensive and on the net minded style of game he knows how to share puck with his teammates. His offensive skills are very similar to Ilya Kovalchuk with diference that Esa is way better minded player.
-- To Esa Anrikkanen is one very loudly seen weakness and that is his game in defence. He avoid to use any kind of checks or do blocked shots. He does not red game in own defence zone and won’t communicate with team so well. Anrikkanen is owner of brilliant shot but he don’t use it very well when is pretty far from net or is from complicated angle. This factor mess his potencial in PPBLRHSP or Power Play Blue Line Right Handed Shooter Position! Also interesting is that Esa doesn’t take so many 2 minute penalties. He really good control his actions on ice and avoid from accidents that cost penalty killing to own team. On the other side Esa is very emotional player and he don’t like somebody is messing around his teammates. He is far away from enforcer but his actions can cost with major penalties.

Perspective: It is pretty obvious that Esa is going to be top OJHL sniper and first round (possibly even 1-10) pick in NHL 2014 draft. Only he is clear one way, one purpose player. With right teammates he can be unstoppable!

Name: Olivers Petifers

Position: Center

League: USHL

Team: Fargo Force

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Olivers Petifers is one of the skilled forwards in USHL. His advantage is brilliant hands. These are really quick. Olivers is owner of fantastic puck handling skills and very accurate shot. Quick hands make him to excellent faceoff guy. He has good offensive aware but in defense zone he is dangerous to oponents because of great ability to steal puck and his speed is higher than average young player. This in combination makes Olivers to dangerous 1 v 1 situation creator and executor. In other way Olivers most ice time spend to create scoring opportunieties to other teammates. Olivers Petifers has been described as pleasant person with good signs of leadership. Olivers is learning really fast. Ex-coaches admit that is easy to communicate with him. Petifers has great discipline on ice and also after games. Teammates admire his ambitions and take him as their example.

-- Petifers sounds like universal soldier but not all what shines is gold. Despite intteligent offensive play and great character Olivers is actually physically weak. He is avoiding from physical game too. Despite being fast scater he must work on his ability to by more agile and solid on ice. Despite for pretty good size Olivers Petifers don’t use it very well. Biggest weakness is his game on own zone. Despite being active player in own zone he makes typical junior mistakes.

Perspective: At this moment looks like Petifers could be very good NHL top 6 forward and PPP (Power Play Playmaker). Petifers is very mature in offensive zone but still acting unmature in his own zone. Also he could work better to make his shots from point. He has good shot and it is sad if such a player don’t use/create such a opportunities. If he would work more on physical and defensive duties his road to 1st center would be open for sure! Olivers is young enough to improve missing links and work on his strenght. Oliver Petifer, Let the force be with you!

Name: Steven Jalopski

Position: Left Defender

League: WHL

Team: Saskatoon Blades

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Steven Jalopski is modern day defenseman. He has 6’5 feet body and he use it very well. Such a defenseman as Steven is great impovement in teams defence. He is strong, he fights for puck, he stops foe forwards and he knows what to do in own zone. Even though he is big defender he isn’t slow and controls skating very well. Steven has good skills to work on penalty killing. Looks like he just reads opponent thoughts and do anything to not let puck cross the line. On the even strenght game Jalopski is great player to make transition from own to foe zone. Scenario 1 – he founds free player and gives pass. Scenario 2 – he do it himself! Despite being really good defensive defensman he likes to do a lot shots. Steven is hero type player and he likes to get some responsibility. It is huge advantage for him that he is phisically good player and same time smart.

-- Steven Jalopski is close to perfect modern day average defenseman. Missing pipeline is game on offense. Although he likes to do shots most of them are in wrong time and wrong place. Despite being strong player there are some things to work with. Shooting strenght is weaker than it looks like. Most of experts think he is doing something wrong doing slapshot. It is not so hard get down Jalopski and and his skating technique takes much time to boost up his speed. He could work on Power play as big screen guy but in front of the opponent net he doesn’t for pretty good. He should do better shot selection and avoid from shot making that goes to their belly or chest. Also his game in defense work on all 100%. Usually his biggest mistake is too confident game in defense and giving too much control of puck to opponent!

Perspective: There are pretty small chance that Steven Jalopski could go further than 2nd round in 2014 NHL draft. Although „never say never” because may be someone team is desperate in finding good defenseman. He is physically and mentally strong. He should be great future in very high level of hockey. Great 1st pairing defenseman. In ideal way he should be with better offense working defenseman. There are no so bad problems with Jalopski that he could work on them and become to Norris award level player!

Name: Logan Beach

Position: Left Defender

League: USHL

Team: Sioux City Musketeers

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ John Beach is hot prospect for scouts. Looks like he has lost his childhood and became for very mature player. He has perfect harmony in most aspects in game. He isn’t afraid from physical game style, he plays great both zones. Brilliant prospect! He has good skills, he is controling puck very well, he has good shot he knows when do these shots and where to aim. But usually he share puck with teammates which is nice! John is doing well on skates. He has good size which he likes to use and guy has great endurance. Huge ice time is for him! There are no specific strenghts when Beach is in Offense zone or when is on Power Play. He is good Penalty Killer too and pretty good in defense generally! John Beach isn’t solo cowboy he coorporates with team and make very good connetion with them also with chem. Ex-teammates have said that it is easy play with him. Great chemistry. You can rely on him and he is same time relying with you! He is smart player and is not so hot blooded. I name of the team he can risk on own health but never with others. Great sample of Sportmanship!

-- At first this guy is like terminator. But actually he has no any „super-power” which makes him superspecial but same time he has no real weakness! There are some things he could improve if he want became perfect in each spot! He should improve his skating ability. Actually he is pretty slow and quite sloppy but hockey intelligence and skills make this unnoticed! If we would work closer on the oponent net too that would be great! There is still way to grow in defence. He has taken leader role and on his shoulders are promising moments. Sometimes he becomes confused in difficult situations and which leads to mistakes. Also number of blocked shots could be higher. At least he has such a potencial to do that!

Perspective: Take me in ass if John „Logan” Beach won’t be drafted in 1st round! Remember my words! Almoust ideal example for modern day defender. If he would work on his skating little bit more we would saw next Orr. John is great teammate aswell. Teams with him should make great works. This guy is promising!

[Image: Ewanyk%2BTravis%2BEOK6%2BAndy%2Bdevlin.jpg]

Name: Kriss „Labsy” Labsvards

Position: Defender

League: WHL

Team: Edmonton Oil Kings

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Kriss Labsvards or „Labsy” as teammates call him is Western Hockey League wonder. This guy is good improvement in team roster. He has amazing offensive skills. He can the puck behind goal line many ways. Skill, creativity and courage! Labsy has brilliant puck handling skill and in offense zone he can be unpredictable! In any moment he can give pass, take shot or keep running. He has big lungs and he could keep running all day long! Also Labsy can do blue line shots. Note that he is right handed and he loves to use it by switching sides! He has natural goalscoring sense but also he can handle playmker role which is nice! Labsys hockey sense may be is one of the best from his generation. He does well in both sides of ice. This is improved with his skating speed which is pretty solid and all makes better his aglity which is much higher thn average player! Defensivly he doing well, he reads game perfectly and works really active there. Positional mistakes are rarity. Kriss is calm player and don’t take much penalties. He listens in coach words and can take the resposibility what is trusted on him!

-- Modern days average example of defenseman is colored as „Two-way” player. Which is not likely Labsvards. He is godlike in offense zone but there a loto f job on defense. He should play more physically and take more hits which he is already doing but should do more. Labsvards has problem with reaction. Possibility that some day he will become goalie is ridiculous. Problems happens even as skater! In front of net he can’t change directions of puck in time. Biggest problem comes defending. It comes hard to him to block shot. He knows what to do but it don’t go well. Such a problem can cost to his team. Also he is pretty greedy player. Even though he is sharing puck with teammates he likes to set game to himself. That is not nice for teammates.

Perspective: There is high possibility that in 2014 NHL draft we will see his surname in first picks but it doesn’t guarantee anything. At junior level his defensive game will look brilliant but on real ice it might could look different! He has hs good size and he could use it more often physically. He is already using it when goes offense. It is dangerous but he likes to carry risk with him! Labsy is fighter nd may be he won’t get any individual award in his lifetime even though he looks like solo jungler guy. He could be person who carry whole team to victories like he is doing it with puck!

Name: Jackson Weekes

Position: Left Defender

League: OHL

Team: Belleville Bulls

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Such a player like Jackson Weekes is suprise for whole hockey world. Definetly you can call this guy to defender! May be could become to something else and do other sport but his role in hockey is clearly seen! Usually when are about one way players then think that players has problems on defense and so on! This guy is totally all out defense guy! He is unbelievably strong. He is skating fast and with good technique. He isn’t owner of big body but he uses it well and is strong making checks. He reads game well and is excellent player in defense. He chooses perfect posiotion he knows what to do ahe does is it! He is aggresive player and can play dirty. Actually he can become to next top enforcer. He is good at fights and he can make oponents respect him. Though guy!

-- Well…. We could start with fact that Weekes is absolute zero in offensivly. May be for total all out defense guy don’t need that but it makes problems to him. He can’t carry a puck or do pass. Game with stick is in very low level. He should improve his stick handling skills fast! He could mess to others in front of net in Power Play but it doesn’t pay off. His shot is terrible and weak… Hard to say if he is better plyer with or without stick. Being defender his character is pretty interesting. He is individualist and that he has no offensive skills makes him to shock hockey world. He will try carry puck on own hylariosly than giving it others.

Perspective: Despite being total wormhole in offense Jackson has huge potencial. I think he is going to be drafted for sure and he can at least learn some basic to even transit game from one side to another. He is good skater and fast. Its niiice! Jckson Weekes is excellent athlete. Choosing hockey means that he is going to love this sport and it helps him. He reminds old-school hockey players who were more aggresive than these days. His trump is ability to make concussion to foe with one check. Illegal or legal it is another question!

Name: Roy „Ben Blood” Razin

Position: Left Winger

League: OJHL

Team: Buffalo Jr Sabres

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Roy Razin is excellent skater. That is his the biggest advantage. He is fast and very agile on skates. Actually I believe he could be fastest skater on this season draftees. For oponents is difficult to catch him. Roy is great offensive player! He has accurate whrist shot and very good puck handling. He likes to be aggresive in offense zone. His body is strong and well athlete. Razin has amazing ability to create fast speed in short time. Some scouts call him to „Flash” but his actual nickname is „Ben Blood”. In though moment „Be Blood” is going to do anything in name of victory. Sometimes he can’t control his anger and he is actually temper player but sometimes it can go well in name of his team…. Or not!

-- Roy need to do a lot if he want be top pick in this draft and not to waste his magic legs. Shadow side of his skating ability is that he sometimes doesn’t find best posiotion. He could get open more better but biggest loss is in his passing ability. On the light side he controls puck well and can do shot but it doesn’t work so often as it could be, needs to be more creative. Also he is weak contact player and he should improve strenght. Even shot could be stronger. „Ben Blood” is again classic one way player. He is only offensive minded and job in defense zone is terrible. If two-way player would have his physical abilities it would look more attractive! Defense in Roy’s performance is wastefull. It is not nice if your teammates feel like killing penalty. Actually he is not guy who likes to share with teammates. Individually he is strong but it is not smart play.

Perspective: Razin is magician on skates and player with amazing physical abilities. Playing with him teammates can feel different emotions. Next to own net it is like to be on penalty killing but in offense zone like on PowerPlay! With right teammates he could become to top goalscorer. He is terrible in defense, bad as playmaker or checker but deadly goalscorer. Despite being 0 in defense I believe a lot of General Mangers would like to see him on their roster!

Name: Fuck „Aboud Chamas” You

Position: Goaltender

League: QMJHL

Team: Baie-Comeau Drakkar

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ This Lebanon-Canadian is interesting piece. At first he is Lebenon born player! Second, he is really good goaltender with bright future. Third, he has something special to become interesting in to the scout eyes. He takes far shots well and reads opponent actions well. Once he take right position air space is controlled for sure! Some experts joke that he can catch a bullet. Seem like he has fast hands but actually he is playing smart with glove and blocker always setting them in best altitude. Also on bright side is his ability to play in shootout. Goalie coaches are esy to work with him. He is learning fast. After bad games he recors fast, that is good. He is fighter and without struggle don’t give his net!

-- There are some sceptical experts that think Fuck isn’t going to make NHL level. To become great goalie you must work perfectly in all the aspects. Remember that goalie is last line, last hope. Not always for all 100% he control air shots what are coming to him. Good one-timer shots can go past him. Also he is far from modern goalie standarts. He is under 6’0 feet and it comes hard to him to fill the net. Of course there is nothing to deal with that. With the hurry him should improve they way how to guard bottom of goal frame. You is slow on skates thats way it comes hard to fight against good one-timer. Actually quite sloppy on skates and thats way 5 hole is in danger often. He likes to play outside net but in different way. He is playing bad with stick and it is not necessery to him to do some psses to skaters but even job behind net he isn’t doing so good as it should be. He likes to provokate opponent skaters and for goalie he takes too much penalties in minutes. If team thrust him a lot then even this is bad to them because in some minute can skate some foe grinder in goalie zone can really piss him off! Fuck You must improve his endurance and mental game. Guy is dangerous as fire!

Perspective: His future is not clear. This season will show up everything. A lot of experts want to see best way coming. If in this season he will develop his weakneses then after years he can become as 1st goalie in some high level team, hopefully NHL. Dangerous character and low condition rate really low. But everyone rate him as possible dark horse!

[Image: Patrik+Polivka+Victoria+Royals+v+Vancouv...-F-Jpl.jpg]

Name: Jordin FourFour

Position: Goaltender

League: WHL

Team: Victoria Royals

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ At the first sight FourFour sounds like good prospect with huge height. Jordin is with huge talent. He is doing well to make saves. He can take untakeble shots with blocker or glove. Again interesting goalie who controls air space well in front of net. Physically he is well done. According to physically tests a lot of experts think that he could even in his age handle full NHL season and playoffs together. He is disciplined player and is learning well with good coaches. FourFour is hard fake out. May be because he isn’t moving a lot in the game or he is reading player actions well. Also he doesn’t let too much rebounds and looks like he is doing it better than average his age goalies. Besides he has good reflexes. That is why skaters thrust on him and after moment when you do incredible save. It helps a lot to team. And yes – amazing saves ir FourFour trademark!

-- Well…. With what I should start? First, he has a lot problems and it is already problem. He should make better his skills overall. Although players thrust him he breaks down fast if he enter too much goals in the beggining. Phisically he is good but as skater he is weak and even for goalie it is necesary ability… At least enough to skate to net. It is hard coorparate him to skaters because of weak stickhandling ability and unaccurate passes. Beside being good at several goalie skills to make incredible saves, easy low shots and little stupid accidents can cost a lot to him! And for team!

Perspective: At the moment he is 2nd goalie for Royals. He has rights make the 1st goalie spot by doing really hard work. Most of experts think that he can make his way to NHL. Most of them think as undrafted goalie because he need time to develop his soft points!

Name: Franz Vranitzky

Position: Goaltender

League: Czech NOEN U20

Team: HC Sparta Praha U20

Salary: 1'000$

Stats: --

Description:

++ Australian goalie Franz Vranitzky has came a long way to Czech U20 league developing his skills from childhood. This has made him to the player what he is for now! For sure Franz has got some talent. He has great goalie reflexes and this makes him to very confident player. Even in case of some problems (allowed goals) he can keep up playing confident and save the team. He is mentaly strong and that is impossible to lear it somebody. This guy has natural talents. His game does better well positional play. In his age it works well. He is good athlete and his body is strong. Seems like he could handle a lot games in row and in total in season. His ability to be mentally strong is admired to whole hockey world. He is fine prospect, that is for sure! Most of experts think that Franz could be one of the best Play Off goalies because of his confident and willpower!

-- Why Franz Vranitzky is predicted to be good and promising prospect but not the top prospect? Answer is that he need to grow a lot (still). This has huge potencial but it doesn’t mean everything while it isn’t reached or prove? Although good endurance test results and amazing reflexes there is need to improve a lot important goalie skills. Worst at the momenti is stickhandling and doing help for other teammates doesn’t work well enough. It is common to problem to other young goalies. Other skills like doing saves and take low shots are quite average. Same as Fraz’s pokechecking and rebounds. About this moment biggest issue is ability to not make rebounds. In case if defenders will work well it isn’t problem but I think he will go to the tekams were need a leader and guy who can take the game despite being in hard moment. Franz is saying that he doesn’t think he is leader and the biggest critics agree with him. Franz is goalie who likes to play intense and hard. Sometimes his actions cost penalties. It is not nice. May be this doesn’t make him to leader which he could be?

Perspective: Vranitzky could get several championship titles. At first he could help to his Australian brothers to reach higher spot in world rank. He could become to junior champion too. It is possible that he will play some day NHL. But it is pretty clear thet he will go there drafted later. This season he will be noticed but too risky to take. He need to develop his soft points harder. Because he is playing in Europe it is sure that he will be drafted to KHL. If he would break into KHL system it would be great improvement to himself. Although many experts do not think he will get to big „HC Sparta” roster but it is very impossible to make there to next season. Franz Vranitzky has made huge trip to Czech NOEN U 20 and I believe he is going further for sure. May be not so fast but for sure!

In mysterios way short time before also happened biggest happening in junior player lives … NHL draft. I hope we can go to my time machine and change some stuff to see some player names in NHL 2014 drafted player list … Good Luck!

I know I messed it up, Ben Blood is supposed to be my players name. Razin works just as well though if you're eliminating the nick names.
