Morley takes the podium and begins to clear his throat, preparing for his very first announcement as the newly appoint Co General Manger of the Los Angeles Panthers.

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it once again. I’d like to thank Mr. Wastlund for giving me this opportunity to have a serious impact on the future of this great organization, and to help him create a Challenge Cup contender for many years to come. With that said, Wastlund’s first task for me to complete was to select the new Captain and the Alternate Captains for Season 19.”

“I’d like to first announce the two Alternate Captains for this season. The first being possibly one of the best two way players in the game today. He leads the team in hits every season, and his play is impeccable on both ends of the ice. Mr. Brandon Donini. Brandon has been an alternate captain on the team for some time now, and I see no reason to change that.”

“The second Alternate Captain is once again returning from last year. His dedication and maturity, both on the ice and in the locker room, speak volumes to the management team and it really shows that he is a true leader. Mr. Chuck Winnfield. Though he is only signed to one more season, our hope is to lock him up long term so that he can continue to mentor and lead our younger players.”

“This leads me to the selection of our Season 19 Captain. This player has been with this organization for a very long time, and he is not going anywhere any time soon. He leads our defensive core and is a staple in the locker room. His leadership is unquestionably top notch and he leads by example with his incredible skill and selflessness. Mr. Dave Smith will be our new team Captain! I know he will do a great job, and I am 100% confident in his abilities in mentorship and leadership.”
