The Edmonton Blizzard are excited to announce that we have come to terms on a contract extension with our young star forward RIKO MUERTO!

Riko has become a premier player in the SHL and is a fantastic leader for us on and off the ice. We're very excited to bring him back for the next few years and I'm sure we'll have plenty more success with him remaining in our lineup.

Riko was represented in these negotiations by the Lovell Kunkell Agency. The terms of the deal are as follows:

S20: $7,000,000 (NTC)
S21: $7,000,000 (NTC)
S22: $7,000,000 (NTC)

Muerto will be paid an additional $2M from the Management Budget for his work behind the scenes in all three seasons.
