Played tennis for the first time in a long while yesterday. Not exactly the gym but at least I got to workout outside.

Been going through the 100 pushups app. It's pretty good to get the blood flowing if you're working from home. They have a 200 squats and 200 situpts app. They start small (12) and build over time. They do it in intervals with 2 minute rests. was doing the 30 pushups a few days, just switched to the next step which is 45. Bit of a jump there. But feeling good, just trying not to atrophy lol.

Going kayaking today after work. Anything active is better than nothing.

Never heard of this. Is it like a once an hour reminder thing?

I think a big thing is switching from being inside 24/7 to doing more stuff like this. Obviously having a good gym routine is huge but going swimming or hiking more often is gonna work wonders for some people in terms of both general emotions and also getting back in shape.

Definitely. Getting some exercise, getting away from the town and my job, getting some sun, spending time with my wife. It's gonna be great.

No, you do them all at once with 2 minute breaks.
So for 45 pushups today, it's
5 minute warmup
10 pushups
2 minute rest
7 pushups
2 min rest
12 pushups
2 min rest
7 pushups
2 minute rest
9 pushups.

The goal is eventually to do 100. I'm not sure how fast the program expects you to go through it, but it's very incremental, starting with 12 (2,2,3,2,3)

After much training during covid I can now do 16 oz curls with both my right and left arm. With each rep it gets progressively lighter. No lite beers, they are basically water.

6'4", 325lbs. Time to start that journey down to 240. Need to start this now. Can't linger at this weight at 34 anymore.

I have been using a program called 22 minute Hard Corps by Tony Horton. Going on week 6 of 9 weeks. I have slimmed up about 10-15 pounds so far.
