Zach Miller is a winger who currently plays for the defending Eastern Conference Champions who came up one goal shy of winning it all, the Minnesota Chiefs, the team that selected him fourth overall in the season six SHL entry draft. He spent his junior days in Prince George with the Firebirds who selected him seventh overall in the NWJHL entry draft in season five. During Miller's short SHL career thus far, he has played 57 regular season games where he scored 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 total points with a -1 rating, 103 penalty minutes, 71 hits, and 22 blocked shots. On Minnesota's run to the Challenge Cup Finals, Zach posted eight goals while adding six helpers for 14 points with a +10 rating, 27 penalty minutes, 20 hits, and four blocked shots in 17 games. Miller's NWJHL career seen him lead the league in goals with 34 while he had 31 assists and 65 points with a +8 rating, 81 penalty minutes, 71 hits, and 23 blocked shots in 40 regular season games. The Four Stars Cup Playoffs were not so kind to him as the Firebirds were ousted in the first round by the Kelowna Knights in seven games where Zach had two goals, three assists, five points, a -3 rating, 17 penalty minutes, 14 hits, and two blocked shots.

PH = Puck Handling: 80 (Max. 90)

Zach is very strong, making it difficult for opponents to knock him off of the puck as well as allowing him to outmuscle them in the corners and win those puck battles. He also can play big-time minutes without getting fatigued and handles the puck like second nature as he sees the ice very well but can succumb to injuries.

Miller cannot win face-offs or score shootout goals but is a very good two-way player who can score goals as well as anybody and can set them up just as good as well as playing a very solid defensive game, giving him the ability to be a very good penalty killer.

Zach Miller put up some impressive numbers in his rookie campaign with the Chiefs and should only continue to grow as a player as the Chiefs grow as a team, the Challenge Cup isn't out of the question for season seven.
