I understand that you don't, and couldn't possibly watch every player you've wrote about here this early on. That said, I disagree with a few of your comparisons from players I'm more familiar with.

Starting with McDavid and Eichel.

McDavid and Crosby both have an elite understanding of the game and incredible hockey IQ's but I think the similarities begin and end there. Crosby brings a much more physical aspect to his game and his lower body strength is second to none. Crosby is going to challenge you head on and beat you most times. McDavid is more slick, elusive player. He's still going to challenge you, but it'll be with his quickness and speed, he changes speeds and dictates the pace of the game. I like Datsyuk as the closest comparison.

Eichel is a guy you may know more about than I do but from from what I've heard and seen, his size plays a greater role in his game than that of Stamkos. I read that he compares himself to Jeff Carter and I like that comparison. I'd also like to throw the Kovalchuk name out there.

I really like the Barzal comparison.

I like the Konecny description but not the comparison. I think Giroux or Gallagher would be better fits.

Mitch Marner's best assets are his vision and hands. He's a real dangerous, slick player who can find and make plays nobody saw coming. He's also a very slight player. Filppula is an ok comparison but I think Marner is a more offense-oriented version and he uses his skillset to his advantage more than Filppula. I like Nugent-Hopkins as a good comparison to Marner. Depending on how you adjust the Defense/Offense slider you can change from Filppula to Marner/Nuge.

The rest I'm pretty indifferent on or just don't know enough about the players.

Like Connor, he's a guy I've read about on the Wings board and never actually seen the Nyquist comparison so that'll be interesting to look for.
Lucic is an extreme in this league and I'm not sure Crouse plays that same "mean" game but it's fair comparison.
I wasn't sure about Strome-Krejci at first but that comparisons growing on me.
