We caught up with Butch Buckley after the draft. To our surprise when he opened his door, he had no idea that he was actually drafted.

Here ya go bud. Yeah, so that's real nice, man. I'd be lyin' if I didn't say how happy I was to be taken by a pretty successful team, y'know? They made it to the finals last year. I'll do my best to make 'em proud.

Well John... Is that even your name? Anyways, I gotta say man, I'm a fighter. It's all I know brother. Hockey is a big part of my life, y'know? I'm a pretty humble dude, dude. I don't consider myself a success story yet. This is the first step, man. I lay my body on the line out there for my teammates, give 'em a little love, keep 'em happy. I like to think I pride myself on fuckin' grit, do the dirty work, John. Every team needs a little dirty.
