The Antarctican goalie prospect walks up to the stand.
"Hey guys, this is the first time ever doing something like this. I'm excited to hear your questions, and to also do more of these in the future. Feel free to ask me anything regarding the IIHF positives, the SMJHL draft, the insane Goalie Prospect pool and anything else!" Panda Where do you think you rank with the goalies that have committed already? I don't really think I can give you a answer for that one. There are quite a few other goalies that are ready for the draft, just like me. We haven't had a chance to showcase our skills yet. I think you're question will be answered when the season beings. One thing I know for sure, I won't disappoint. Any SMJHL teams catching your eye? Hmm. Out of all the 6 teams in the SMJHL the one that sticks out the most is the Scarecrows. I had a friend who player for him, and I've only heard good things. Acording to some of the players there the GM Miller and Co-GM Lahley are both exceptional at what they do. Aside from the great management, I've heard that their locker room is active and a lot of fun to be in. Two other teams have caught my eye thus far. The Knights and Falcons. Both seem to have good management, great locker rooms, and great players. I would be more than happy to end up in one of these teams. Where do you think you will fit in the SHL with so many goalies being relatively young? I can't see into the future, but I know that I can work real hard and that future will be positive for me. That being said, I want to be on top obliviously, but I do expect some really hard challenges in accomplishing that. With all these other goalies it's going to be hard to prove my worth to a team, but I plan on making a big impact. Who do you compare with in the SHL? Jakob Tanner. He's someone I look up to and have been for awhile. Someone who works hard, is friendly, and helps the team win games. He's really a perfect example. Why should someone choose you 1st overall? Most people would say they have great stats and they are the best player, or something silly like that. I think I should go 1st overall because I bring a lot to a locker room. I bring activity to teams, and help each other bond. You can't win a championship if the team is at each other throats. What is Antarctica like? A wee bit chilly here and there. Made a couple of friends among the penguins. Thanks for the questions! Mac Lots of goalies, you special? Time will tell. As of right now I'm just like everyone else here who wears the pads, but in time we'll see who's on top. I plan on fighting for that top spot. GOING OUT OF CHARACTER FOR THESE NEXT FEW QUESTIONS What made you decide to call it in? A few things led to the retirement of Samsinov. One being my loss of 3 seasons worth of TPE. 3 seasons of TPE is a lot, and I didn't want to have to deal with the stress of making it up. One other reason was lack of interest in being a forward, it just stopped being interesting to me. I wrote a article a bit ago where I addressed it better, Code: Samsinov was a interesting player for me. I started off in one of the largest, if not largest draft class to ever grace this site. I was picked 34th overall by St. Louis, and that S19 LR was the best time I've had on this site hands down. I made friends with Kit, Rice, Brandino, JP, Cuffy, Jasmine, Andy, and the list goes on and on. We had a fun playoff run that season and we all enjoyed ourselves. Then we moved on to the long period of time before the draft, which was madness and also a ton of fun. It was always one thing after another and then the day finally hit. I was streaming with Kit and Ace during the draft which was a great time overall. I remember being ecstatic being chosen top 10. I had high standers to live up to, and I was excited for the challenge. This challenge, however, I failed. Describe the LRs in Ham, WKP and New. HAM: Great locker room. Very welcoming team and made things easy for me when I was leaving. Although they've been through some stuff in the past seasons, they are a very positive team and have a great kik chat where they shoot the shit. They allow me to hang in their kik, and it's always a good time. WKP: They mostly use a kik chat to talk, but their locker room is still active. Another great team. I loved everyone there, and they were a more relaxed and chill team. Really funny kik chats, and they really have a similar sense of humor as me. I loved being there. Like HAM, they allow me to be in their kik chat. And again, it's always fun to chat with them. NEW: New is great. The locker room is really active, the people on the team are great and provide great conversation. Although we don't use a kik (we have one, but I can't get anyone to bloody join), the LR makes up for it. This was the team I was drafted to and am now apart of. Everything about this team is great. I love lamp We see we have some things in common. Thanks for the questions Mac. Bojo How do you pronounce that? https://youtu.be/hIMD6sxY_t0?t=19m16s THE BIG EAZY BOYZ! How long until you take HFFO's former title? This is going to become a thing, isn't it... To answer your question though, I think i'll have it within the next 3 to 5 seasons. Where do you plan on going in the SHL as a goalie? Well, I'm not sure. I've heard good things from the Platoon and the Steelhawks. I think my number one would definitely be the Wolfpack though. They have a ton to offer, and I already have a few buddies there. Plus, Tennyson isn't getting younger so there is a opportunity for me to help replace him. Why is rainbow dash worst pony? Because she's as awesome as she wants to be. Thank Pushkin for the questions. prettysideburn If a team needed to draft a goalie in S24 but wasn't lucky enough to pick you, who would you suggest as a second choice? Igor Ogorodnikov. The guy is a bit crazy from my experience hanging out with him, but he is a pretty fun guy. Smart too, he's said some interesting things about the universe. Aside from his personality, I also know he can stop pucks really well too. What inspired you to become a goalie? Any particular goalie heroes growing up, either in the SHL or the NHL? I don't really know, when I was younger I used to be memorized by the goalies. No disrespect to the skaters, but something about being a goalie always stuck win me. When I put on the pads for the first time I knew it was for me. One goalie I adored when I was younger was Marty Brodeur. He had such a cool style and such good stats. He's someone I look up to, and want to be like. Antarctica seems like it would be a really interesting, if perhaps lonely, place to grow up. What was it like? Did you have other friends who played hockey to practice with? Yeah, Antarctica is interesting all right. I was born and never met my parents. They abandon me, and a pack of penguins adopted me. Taught me to play hockey. They helped me sharpen my skills and got me to where I am today. Keep your eyes out at the draft, some of them will be there. (I'm going to write a extended version of this.) Thanks for the great questions PB! JP ur the worst that's not a question, just a fact Code: Do You Honestly Think You're Fucking Funny Fucking With My Friends? Seriously. You're A Fucking Ugly Little Cunt Mate And If I Ever See You I'm Going To Slit Your Fucking Face Wide Open Yeah. You're A Fucking Angry Little Fucking Spastic. Jules Why do you pretend to hate Superbman and then honour him with you player? Jonhhy Superbman is my fucking idol you sick cunt, holy fuck. I can't believe this shit.
