all your doing by increasing regression is getting rid of the active members that don't have the desire to start over and make a new player.

if you do have that desire and your bored with your player because you're maxed out, guess what, you can re-create.

i honestly fail to see why having players with long careers negatively impacts the league.

I have really enjoyed the opportunity to have a long career with my guy and have become attached to him throughout the years. The thing I really like is that with the way things are right now it gives each member the choice and freedom to recreate whenever they want and doesn't force people into retiring really until after 20+ seasons. Some people just don't want to start all over and I believe forcing people to retire with a harsher regression system will likely negatively impact activity as it will just force some people down a path they don't want to go.
