C Evandrus Jesster :impact:

This is the least complicated decision of the picks, and we start off with Evandrus Jesster. Jesster is doing it all for his team and has been doing really well this season. He’s third among centers for points, including the send downs as he stands 6-12-18 in 20 games played. It’s hard to find a point-per-game player, and even harder to find that quality in a rookie. He’s also a +5 and only has 10 penalty minutes, something every coach and GM wish they had on their team.


RW Robb Wind

Wind is doing what it takes to help out the Scarecrows, and is sitting at 6-8-14 for his scoring stats for the year. He’s had a lot of time to grow, and is competing with the rest of the rookies and vets on his team to put up points. He’s a little weak on the back-end being a -8, but makes up for that by having zero penalty minutes so far through twenty games. Despite playing first line minutes, Wind is keeping his head about him and playing smart hockey.


LW Adam Falk :impact:

Falk is another amazing player, tallying eight goals, nine assists and seventeen points in twenty games. Although he is out there for a lot of points, he’s a -1, but this is normal for any top six player. He has an impressive 20% shooting percentage and is a solid winger to go along with Wind and Jesster.


D Maria Maximova

Maximova is a hell of a player, that has given her team a lot of spark with her 12 assists. She’s constantly getting the puck in front of the net and giving her teammates a chance to put it in. She is definitely an offensive focused player, being a -1 through 20 games played. She’s not the most physical person on the ice, but gets the job done.


D John Matthews

Matthews is an offensive powerhouse on the back end, and like Maximova, is setting his team up to score goals. Matthews has thirteen assists to his three goals, and is a plus-1 to help out his team. He’s also learned to stay out of the penalty box, racking up only four penalty minutes so far this season. Another player that isn’t focused on hitting, but taking way the puck and creating chances.


G Austin Lemieux

I said it before the draft, and it still stands now. Lemmy is going to be the goalie of the future. He’s the best goalie out of the rookie draft class, and stands on his head night in and night out. He’s gone 6-3-1 in the 10 games he’s split, and has put up a .863 save percentage. His goals against average looks ugly at 3.26, but he’s on par with everyone but Earnest Ciarelli, Kyle Prunce and Sergei Kozar. He’s a rookie goalie playing like a SHL send-down. He’s doing well for himself and will continue his success with more playing time.
