The Texas Renegades took their time deciding on the captaincy this season due to the fact that we wanted to make sure they got the right guys. We wanted people who were going to exude class, give our team a good name and image around the site, and attract players to play for our fine organization. After consulting together, Deener and Boon have decided this years version of our captaincy staff.

So without further ado, the first player to don the assistant's badge this year is...

Asbjørn has exemplified the true character of a Renegade. A widely respected player and member around the league, he exudes class and is always helpful to younger members on the site. We are very excited to have signed him to a long-term contract this offseason and look forward to see him leading our forward corpse in the future.


Our next assistant will be...

Daigle has been a loyal and classy Renegade for several seasons now. One of the veterans of our back-to-back championship winning core, Daigle has exuded a level of sportsmanship and leadership in his time with the Renegades since the very first day he joined. We are extremely excited that although we had a huge roster turnover, Daigle is still apart of this core.


And without further ado, our newest Renegade captain to follow in the footsteps of his many great precessors is....

Kinsler has been a FANTASTIC Renegade since he joined the team 5 short seasons ago, and has done nothing but win at the junior and SHL levels. He is one of our teams most prominent leaders through and through and had an absolute breakout season last year. Once Horvat is done, Kinsler will take over the 1C duties and we are excited for any future including Kinsler. He, like our other captains, is a winner and will lead us well.
