For me crying in sports rarely involves tears below are some examples;

Lebron yelling at the ref after he thinks he was fouled. (he's the best player in the world, yes he gets fouled every play)

Bryce Harper looking back at the umpire after a called third strike. You are taught to protect with 2 strikes from a very young age.

James Harden calling himself the best player in the league - when Steph Curry beat him for MVP, and beat him enroute to a ring.
