The showcase has hardly been a great opportunity for Togole Bitties to show what he's got. To say there's a disconnect between Tigole Bitties and the coaching staff would be fair. Tigole is being rolled out as a secondary, depth player. He's seeing 10:00-14:00 minutes a game, with the other center men on the Lions seeing 18:00-20:00 minutes per game. This has seriously impacted Bittties' offensive output, and it's frustrating him greatly.

The Lions themselves have been a story of two teams. They've been absolutely demolished in one game by a score of 7-2, but have grinded and outworked their opponents in their other games in the showcase. Maybe that's partly due to Bitties' faceoff prowess and the Lions' holding the "Lions share" of possession. See what I did there?

Needless to say, there's one more batch of games leading into the showcase playoffs. Tigole Bitties isn't happy with how it's gone so far, but with the coaching staff seeing more wins than losses, it probably won't be changing. The pressure falls onto Tigole Bitties to make more happen in his limited time on the ice. You have to give him credit though - 50% shooting percentage is pretty crazy!
