TASK ONE:
The team wanted to do something special for Nathan Russell since it was his retirement season. The team, which has some hotshots with big contracts and poor personal finance skills, dropped a bunch of money to get the original "Mutt Cutts" dog cover from Dumb and Dumber. The team had the cover painted, more like a wolf, with a New England logo covering up "Mutt Cutts.” This is a sort of going away present, and drew many confused faces when it pulled up to the big game. Portland and Toronto fans looked at the Wolfpack mobile as Nathan Russell emerged ready to take in the big game. One modification for the Wolfpack mobile is that the horn has been replaced with a toned down New England Wolfpack goal horn. That way, when in traffic, Russell will be able to awooo with the pack and let everyone know that the wolves are out and about.

TASK THREE:

Skipp Santos: It’s Game One of the Challenge Cup Final, we have the Portland Admirals and Toronto North Stars squaring off to gain the ever so important first victory. We have some key players from Halifax that this market knows oh so well, we have Colin Banning and Alex Reed representing the Admirals against Rhys and Reed Laing of the North Stars.

Albert Williams: It’s going to be a competitive bout, and I imagine the winner of this match up will have a great advantage down the stretch.

Skipp Santos: That’s true. What is it that we can expect from these two warring teams?

Albert Williams: A lot of grit, a lot of desperation; these two teams will have a lot to prove and a lot to accomplish. Both teams are in a position where they need to win now. Let's get down to ice-side and see this game.

The scene shifts to ice side with the two teams skating the ice.

TASK FOUR:
Toronto Top line winger, Damien Wert came up big in the S35 playoffs. Damien Wert, playing nearly 25 minutes per game, put up 20 points (7 goals and 13 assists) while being +11. In addition to his top line role, Wert saw big minutes on the powerplay and penalty kill, proving to be an effective tool in every situation that the North Stars faced. Toronto would have a much harder time making that comeback to win the Challenge Cup in game 7. Damien Wert got the scoring stared in Game 7, at 3:05 of the first with help from Reed Laing and Andrey Barbashev. Wert wasn't stopping there, he contributed on the gaming winning goal, scored by Kristian Eriksson at 2:37 of the 2nd period. His game 7 performance was good enough for the 2nd star of the game, but looking at his total performance for the S35 Playoffs, I believe Wert is a safe bet for Playoffs MVP.

TASK FIVE:
Colin Banning: Playing your former team, is there any extra motivation to beat them?

Alex Reed: Some media drew questions about your performance since being drafted, yet you’re in the Challenge Cup Final, did you feel any motivation from negative media?

Reed Laing: Leaving Portland on shaky grounds, practically forced out, does the animosity for your former team make this final more enjoyable? Making the Final is always satisfying, but the opportunity to rob a rival team must be thrilling.
