As someone that's seen 30 seasons of the SHL, people come and go often and 9 days is hardly enough time to gauge activity. Shayne Steele, Stacker Pentecost, Mariusz Kwik, Conall Macleod all players that showed amazing interest for a whole season ended up ghosting. I just feel there should be a minimum of time on the site to be given a job like Co-GM even in the SMJHL. It's a problem imo we have in the SHL where people that haven't been on the site long are given higher roles that they aren't ready for. The SMJHL is about growing new players but if a person in charge doesn't know all the rules of the league how are they supposed to follow them?

The thing that nobody sees on here, which I mentioned in the post, is the work you haven't seen. Him and his brothers have prolly ran more sims and been data crunching more then most people in these jobs on the site right now. Does 9 days sound crazy, absolutely, I was also once given rains as co-gm in Toronto after about a month and half on the site, I ghosted, who's to say he won't? Who's to say someone in a much higher position won't? Nobody can guess that.

I also think it's funny how all the candidates I talked to about not getting the job took it better then most of you.
