Tigole Bitties, one of the recent additions to YOUR EDMONTON BLIZZARD announced today that he’s created a partnership with local businessmen and restauranteur groups to create his own line of bars and restaurants that’ll be opening in the Metropolitan Edmonton area. The bar will be called “Tigole’s” and will serve a variety of bar fare and creative cocktails. Here’s a snapshot at what the bar will look like at our downtown Edmonton location. The first location downtown adjacent to Rogers Place will have the following drink menu during their opening night next Saturday. <div align="center"> The Scholz Main alcohol: Whisky Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Bourbon or Rye whiskey, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, 1 Sugar cube, Few dashes plain water Preparation: Place sugar cube in old fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add whiskey. Garnish with orange slice, and a cocktail cherry. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice. Remind the customer that this drink is the oldest and will always be here and they should be happy it’s being served to them. Standard garnish: Orange slice, Cocktail cherry Drinkware: Old Fashioned glass <a href='index.php?showuser=1766' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>karlssens</a> The Rudnikova Main alcohol: Vodka Ingredients: 2/3 oz (2 parts) Coffee liqueur, 1 2/3 oz (5 parts) Vodka Preparation: Pour the ingredients into an old fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Stir gently. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice. Address the customer as “comrade” for the remainder of their time at the bar. Drinkware: Old Fashioned glass IBA specified ingredients: 5 cl Vodka; 2 cl Coffee liqueur <a href='index.php?showuser=2240' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-34'>mel24</a> The Cuddles Main alcohol: Campari, Vermouth Ingredients: Soda Water, 1 oz Campari, 1 oz Red Vermouth Preparation: Pour the Campari and vermouth over ice into glass, add a splash of soda water and garnish with half orange slice. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice. Hipchick customer when delivering it. Standard garnish: Half an Orange Slice Drinkware: Old Fashioned glass <a href='index.php?showuser=2723' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>cpetrella</a> The Bitties Main alcohol: Rum Ingredients: 3 1/3 oz Ginger Beer, Couple dashes of bitters, 2 oz Dark Rum Preparation: In a highball glass filled with ice, add dark rum and top with ginger beer. Garnish with lime wedge. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice. Only have the most attractive waitstaff hand it to client, no dudes. Must be well endowed on the chest side of things. Standard garnish: Lime wedge Drinkware: Highball glass The Cukurs Main alcohol: Vodka, and make sure it’s from fermented potatoes. Ingredients: 1 part Vodka, 1 to 3 parts Tonic water Preparation: Mix and serve-stirred, not shaken. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice Standard garnish: Citrus fruit, usually lime or lemon Drinkware: Highball glass <a href='index.php?showuser=2364' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>iOBESE</a> The Chiclets Main alcohol: Bourbon whiskey Ingredients: 1 teaspoon Powdered sugar, 2 oz. Bourbon whiskey, 2 teaspoons Water, 4 Mint leaves Preparation: In a highball glass gently muddle the mint, sugar and water. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir well until the glass is well frosted. Garnish with a mint sprig. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice, provide local dentist’s business card on the side. Standard garnish: Mint sprig Drinkware: Highball glass <a href='index.php?showuser=1250' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Whikadoodle</a> The Rockefeller Main alcohol: Whisky, Champagne Ingredients: ½ oz Ginger syrup, 5 oz Champagne, 2 oz Canadian rye whisky Preparation: Shake whisky and syrup over ice. Strain into highball and top with champagne. Garnish with lemon peel. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice with a sophisticated demeanor similar to how Rockefeller carries himself on the ice. Standard garnish: Lemon peel Drinkware: Highball glass <a href='index.php?showuser=12' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-4'>Leafs4ever</a> The Tuck Main alcohol: Rum Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz White rum, 6 leaves of Mint, Soda Water, 1 oz Fresh lime juice, 2 teaspoons Sugar, Preparation: Mint sprigs muddled with sugar and lime juice. Rum added and topped with soda water. Shake ten times violently as Tuck was shaken as an infant by his father. Garnished with sprig of mint leaves. Served with a straw. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice. Tends to get people in fights and in trouble. Standard garnish: Sprig of mint, Yerba buena Drinkware: Collins glass <a href='index.php?showuser=2766' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>ErM</a> </div> There will be plenty of new additions to the menu, as well as a full gift shop where you can buy officially SHL licensed Edmonton Blizzard merchandise and a full sized Tigole Bitties body pillow to keep your girlfriends comfortable while you’re away on a business trip.
