This is the official announcement that I’m stepping down as the co-GM of the San Francisco Pride effective at the beginning of the S38.

When I came to Portland, it was originally taking a dead body and maybe breath it back to life. I think nobody knew what was going to happen in that off-season between the punishment and the mass-retirement. I stepped up because someone had to. My goals were to get our team from burning trash heap to recovering into a real team. That mean crisis control, helping people get to other teams if they so chose, making sure that the alumni knew what was going on. The early days were rough and I appreciate everyone sticking through those early bad decisions. Benches, thank you for joining me in those early days and being my go-to. We may have both known nothing but I’m fucking glad I had you.

Also special thanks for Baelor and Nereus for those super early deals. They were tough and thanks for dealing with my inexperienced ass and giving some good advice.

I want to thank <a href='index.php?showuser=2245' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Grapehead</a> for coming in and becoming the best GM for all of us. Thank you thank you for keeping me as your co and working with <a href='index.php?showuser=2280' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>daBenchwarmer</a> and I to get the Admirals moving. You have been a positive delight and a true friend. Words can’t begin to describe how much you’ve been a boon to us.

To the members of the Pride/Admirals, I love you and you’re the best. You did bring me back from inactivity and I love you for it.
