Becoming a Non-drafted SMJHL Rookie there aren't really much expectations for a kid just out of high school with no college degree. But I, Geoff Higgins, don't compare myself to anyone here in this league. I truly wish to be the best. I don't want to come up to the SHL looking like someone else. I don't want to be put onside of someone in the stat column and here analysts distinguish what I need to do to be like, Liam Kinsler or Chris McZehrl. I wan't to be the first Geoff Higgins. I want people to look at my career not in a shadow of someone else but I want to be looked up too, not me looking up to someone else.

Playing in a minor hockey league I was told that I could be the next Elias Armia. But I told that person to get out of my face because being someone else is not the goal I have in mind and it never was. Like previously stated I want to be the greatest, the biggest cliche in the league of anything but I truly believe that it is possible for me to outweigh the legends and become something no one has ever seen before. My Puckhandling and Passing will outweigh anyone in this league.
