1. What are your expectations for the Militia roster this year?

I think we've all got high expectations for ourselves this year. We have a really strong returning class and a great group of rookies coming in. We have really solid players at every position, so we're looking to build on last season's success. We nearly made it back to the finals last year, and this season I'm confident we've got the talent on our roster to go further.

2. How do you think Montreal did in the SMJHL draft this year?

I think we had an incredible draft. Hudec is a player we all had our eyes on and we think he fell into our lap. In the later rounds we made some really great picks, and so far everyone who we selected in the draft has been around and seem to be motivated. We've got a nice mix of players with different skills and strengths, at different positions, so I think the draft really rounded out our roster.

3. What are your personal goals for Koenig going into S39?

I was really proud of my rookie season but I'm definitely hoping to build on it this year. I want to be the top defender in the SMJHL, I want to contribute offensively, and I just want to be there in the discussion for MVP at the end of the season.
