SMJHL Career Extension/Moving SHL Draft ahead

From what I've gathered, a sizable number of members aren't too fond of the SMJHL restrictions, and want to swiftly just become a member of an SHL team, so that they are able to do everything an SHL player is afforded the chance to do.
Also, one season plus the playoffs is around six week or so in real life. That is more than enough time for SHL General Managers to scout properly. I honestly think the system is fine for the most part, and don't think it needs a massive overhaul. I do enjoy gauging in these types of conversations, so cheers for that!
