At 49 is Platoon winger Alex Light, entering S40 with the third 40+ point season in the last four years, with two 40+ point seasons in a row. Light scored 17 goals and 43 points, close to the same production he had the previous season, and could even get better right before he hits regression.

48. (S35) RW (Calgary Dragons) - Louie Garrett || New Entry

At 48 is Louie Garrett of the Dragons, moving on to a new team after three seasons with Seattle, where he scored 54 goals and 111 points in 150 games with the team. S39 saw him score a career high 26 goals and 49 points, register 221 shots, and play the most minutes of his career, which could mean he is about to take that major step into the elite category.

At 47 is goaltender Jeff Kirkstone of the Pride, close to the top-10 for the S39 list but falling back to the 40s after a season where he went 21-20-3, not a great response to the amazing season he had in S38 where he went 30-9-3 and was one of the top goaltenders in the league.

At 46 is veteran Lord Pretty Flacko, one of the most consistent players in recent memory even though his production is starting to falter in his advanced age. Flacko scored 17 goals and 42 points, the 10th season in a row with at least 40 points. Unfortunately his physical play has declined, his numbers have taken a steady down turn since his historic 70 point season in S36, and his age isn't going to make it easy to keep this type of consistent production going.

At 45 is Wolfpack winger Raven Silverwing, another player who was not quite able to live up to a previous season which surpassed all the ones before it. Silverwing scored 18 goals and 38 points, which isn't too bad for a winger in the middle of regression, but after his 24 goals and 53 points the previous year, and the -14 that he had this year, that is a disappointment.

At 44 is Platoon winger Leafer Rielly, making a big jump into the top 50 as he continues to elevate his game to new heights. Rielly scored 15 goals and 46 points in S39, all the while becoming a better two-way winger and increasing his strength over the offseaosn, making him a threat to continue this production and possibly earn his first ever 50 point season.

At 43 is Jed Lloren of the Pride, one of only a small few S20 players remaining. Lloren is one of those players who never quite was considered one of "those guys" in terms of the elite game changers, but his production has been about as consistent as ever. Lloren scored 20 goals and 45 points, continuing a trend of 5 seasons with at least 40 points, and is doing so while facing top competition, something people were not expecting from the veteran.

At 42 is new entry Jording FourFour Jr., who in his second season enters the list despite playing on a team that has had major struggles trying to get him into the fold and provide a winning team in front of him. FourFour Jr. went 15-22-6, but his .914 save percentage was tied for third among goaltenders, all this while facing a ton of shots.

At 41 is Jasper Clayton of the Wolfpack, a defenseman who has always put his play into the playoffs and the playoff resume speaks for itself. Clayton scored 8 goals and 33 points, an unfortunate response to winning the Stevens in S38, but for a defender who is also well into regression, the fact he won a Stevens at all in these recent years is saying something.

40. (S31) LW (Buffalo Stampede) - Eduard Selich || -7

At 40 is Stampede winger Eduard Selich, a player who up until recently was one of the few bright spots in Buffalo, scoring 40+ goals in three straight seasons with a 55 point season to cap it all off. S39 was a different story, and while Selich scored a decent 18 goals, he only finished with 39 points, just shy of a fourth straight 40+ point season and on a team that had its fair share of problematic issues.
