At number 2 is Kristian Eriksson of the Toronto North Stars, making his debut in the top-10 despite being one of the oldest players in the league. Eriksson is one of the most confounding players in the league in that he is playing some of his best hockey while on the "downswing" of his career, scoring 31 goals and 63 points in S39 and scoring over 50 points the last three seasons. Eriksson is even doing this on a team that has had some struggles as a whole, which means despite the lack of support (other than teammate Chris York) he is a dominant player.

Taking the crown for the top-100 is North Star Chris York, his first time in the top-10 and only second time on the list so far in his career. York has had the most drastic improvement in his game that we have seen in some time, scoring 23 goals and 67 points, registering 145 hits, and even getting time in special teams. Winning the scoring race (and looking to do so for S40) while only playing 5 seasons in the league is something we thought we would never see again with the new development structure in the league, but York is proving he is a unique talent and one to be looking at for a very long time.
