The San Francisco Pride did a good job of locking down the big fish and their best free agent and they did it for three more seasons. That is a great move by a front office that is probably a bit underrated around the league. Geronimo Otto is a star and you want to keep your stars around. We do not even need to mention the cheap deal on this one either. Just a good way to start the off season.

On the flip side, there is a lot of young talent that the Pride management has not been able to lock down yet. Dakota Reid, Kyler Gill, and Howie Dewitt are the future forwards of the franchise and they are all currently pending contracts. That is not a great position to be in, but who knows what is going on behind closed doors. Two other young forwards do not have young deals but they are both currently restricted free agents. It looks like Hans Gruber and Daniel Garland are going to go find what they are worth on the open market, and then the Pride will decide if they are worth it to the team. This good result in some cheap deals for San Francisco, but hopefully it does not backfire and cause them to lose some young talent.
