The Seattle Riot, after coming off a dreadful season, have made some huge pickups this offseason, and hope to turn around their franchise and put them in a direction where playoffs is definitely a possibility, thanks to the acquisitions of Louie Garrett, Clint Eastwood, Jeff Kirkstone and Gaia Mormont, and the upcoming SHL debuts of Demaricus Smyth and Blaine McElroy . With these additions, Alexander Zajac has dropped the letter on his shirt, meaning that the Seattle Riot will be naming a new captain and a new alternate captain for the upcoming season. Here are your Seattle Riot captains!

SECOND ALTERNATE CAPTAIN


Louie Garrett has always been regarded as an incredible leader in the locker room, as well as an incredibly talented forward. His loyalty towards the Seattle Riot franchise, after fulfilling his promise of returning to the team after winning a challenge cup with the Dragons, is undescribable. He’s always been seen as a role model to the future of the Riot and Riot fans, as well as many others, and will play an incredibly key part in the success of the Riot this season, and seasons to come.

FIRST ALTERNATE CAPTAIN


Brett Kennedy has been with the team for two seasons now, and has been one of the players that is very much appreciated in the locker room, aswell as a player who’s been one of the bright spots on the team last season. He’s an incredibly physical player out on the ice, along with a great scoring ability and defensive ability. Kennedy is an invaluable member of the Riot on and off the ice, and for the second season in a row, he will be serving as the first alternate captain!

CAPTAIN


Liam O’Callaghan has shown incredible potential in his rookie season last season, and was one of the players that awed fans no matter what the scoreline was. He’s definitely the future of the Seattle Riot’s defensive core. He's been more than just an incredibly talented player on the ice, but he’s an incredible leader off the ice, and someone who’s been an incredible aid to me for many things. The leadership he displays in the locker room, on the ice and even with the staff is incredible, is why he is the perfect captain of the Riot.
