Today's Barstool Player of the Game is Lil Manius of the St. Louis Scarecrows. Manius scored a goal just 2:50 into the 3rd period to put the scarecrows up 2-1. After Halifax tied it up at 2, Manius let another one rip and slipped it by the opposing goaltender Kryyst to put the St. Louis up 3-2 with 10:10 left in the game. With 2 goals, both being significant with one being a game tier and the other being a game winner, being credited to Manius and a +2 rating it was easy to see why Lil Manius was chosen as the Barstool Player of the Game.
With that said let's take a look at today's Barstool Rookie of the game. Nicholas Williams a former 6th round pick in this past years SMJHL entry draft opened up the scoring just 2:29 into the first period. One shot, one goal. Not bad for a rookie. This game would have been much different without Manius and Williams, and in the end without these two players in the game, it's hard to see St. Louis coming out on top tonight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() DRAFTED 30TH OA S43 S42 WJC GOLD MEDAL JESTER AWARD FINALIST S45 S45 ALL ROOKIE TEAM S50 IIHF GOLD MEDAL S52 CHALLENGE CUP CHAMPION |
