St. Louis Stuns Raiders
In a thrilling game coming with a ping-pong battle of score, the St. Louis Scarecrows have come out on top of the Halifax Raiders to earn their second win. Lil Manius brought forth his best game of the season and scored two goals for the Scarecrows. When asked about his performance, he told us to start to expect that out of him, and guarantees that this is the turning point in the season for the Scarecrows. While they were good a man short and even strength, St Louis showed that their powerplay still needs work. They went 0/3, but luckily Halifax was just as poor with the man up. The coach emphasized this after the game while adding that the powerplay team will be getting a bag skate on their next off day. Friedrich Schmidt gets the credit for the win, coming off a good helping effort by the St Louis defense limiting Halifax to just 14 shots. The goalie attributes the win to the new-aged warm-up he did before the game involving his chakra crystals and a dark storage room in the arena. |
