In today's game the Detroit Falcons Traveled to Vancouver to face the Whalers, and the Barstool Player of the Game is none other that Eriks Skalbergs of the Vancouver Whalers. Let's take a closer look as to why Eriks was chosen as the award winner. Eriks had an amazing night. Eriks assisted on two goals. The first came with 3:26 left in the first which put Vancouver up 2-0. The second assist was a primary assist that came just 4:11 in the second period to put the Whalers up 3-0. His lone goal came at the 12:32 minute mark of the third period to put Vancouver up 4-0. Overall he put up a stat line of 1-2-3 with a +2 player rating while seeing north of 17 minutes of ice time. After a line like that its hard not to agree why Eriks Skalbergs was named the Barstool Player of the Game.
