Analysis of the First Star: Peter Walker

Now, it seems strange that a member of the losing team should win the first star and even more strange that Kelowna actually lost this game, but the Raptors have found some chemistry finally.

Despite their loss, Peter Walker takes the first star with an impressive performance of a goal and an assist and dominating the face-off circle whilst doing so.

He assisted the tying goal in the second period and went on to score the go-ahead goal in the third until those pesky Raptors tied it up again. A solid effort from a player who shone a little brighter than everyone else in an outstanding barn-burner of a game. Let the hay smoulder. There will be a re-match.
