SSPN Missed Opportunity of the Game

14:41, third period: Justin Siddals gets angry, receives a matching minor

It's easy to lose control of your emotions on the ice, but that discipline is what makes a good hockey player into a great one.  Tonight, we saw the opposite of a display of discipline as Justin Siddals lost his freakin' mind on Kevin Kazarian.  Kazarian starts winding up for a slapshot at the point, as a defending Siddals comes up to stick check.  Kazarian's stick comes up a little high and catches Siddals in the chin.  Now, we'll never know if Siddals saw the referee's arm go up, but we do now that Siddals hooked the holy hell out of Kazarian while sharing some choice words as play returned up the ice.  If Siddals had been a little more controlled, the Falcons could have extended their lead to four.  But instead, we're talking about him here.
