Another tough one for St. Louis, but they did not deserve to win this game. They were out-shot, out-hustled, and out-manned. It's only fitting to present our Bust of the Game Award to one of their own - Rowdy Smithers. As one of the only veterans on the squad, it's tough to see such a gem play a game like this. Smithers was invisible this game, even though he played close to 25 minutes and had 3 minutes on the power play. This isn't a guy playing 8 minutes a night and flying under the radar, this is an elite talent. This game speaks volumes about the season St. Louis has had - not being able to string together goals on the special teams, and veterans not clicking for whatever reason. Hopefully the end of the season brings some more luck to Rowdy and the boys in yellow.
