This game's, week three / game thirty-eight, player of the game is winger, Eriks Skalbergs.

Eriks Skalbergs racked up two assists, and also tallied one goal. In addition to the young forwards three points, he also skated for nearly twenty minutes of ice time, with almost four of those minutes coming on special teams. The coach is clearly confident in his player in all situations and for good reason.
When asked to walk us through his goal, Eriks Skalbergs modesty shined through: "It was a total scramble play. Our guys battled hard to keep control in their end. I think Jussi and I ran a little give and go; I fired one wide; Davey dug the puck back out and gave it back to me and I just fired it on net.
