Hit of the Night - Rafe Ulrich
The hit of the night for this game comes from Rafe Ulrich of the Montreal Militia. With two minutes left in the second period, Rafe would just bowl over Halifax defenseman Roly Rollerson. Rollerson planned on putting the body to Rafe, but Rafe decided that it wasn't going to happen so he stood the defender up at the face-off dot in the circle. The hit was so hard that it actually knocked Rollerson's helmet off, sending it flying towards the crease. Rafe was able to retain possession of the puck, and I think Rollerson's helmet landed in the next town over a few minutes later.
