While Detroit got smoked by the Whale its easy to overlook the dreadful game that Guts O'Bigbers had when he played nearly 16 minutes and went without a point, without a shot, without a PIM, without a fight or a hit. The only time he appears on the stat sheet is at the faceoff dot where he went 8/22. How do you have the opportunity for 22 pucks and only manage to touch it 8 times and then do absolutely nothing for the rest of the night? Vancouver won this game in spite of his play, not because of it. Guts needs to play with some balls if he wants to keep his 15minutes of ice time.
